DAVE NAKHJOVANI
PRINCIPAL / ARCHITECT
Dave worked at architectural firms in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Florida, and Washington prior to joining Lewis Himes in 2000, then became partner in 2008. Dave's many years of specialty include project management, construction administration, quality assurance, cost control, and residential design. He might also add hiking, fishing, gardening, and photography to that list. Dave's greatest professional reward comes from providing architectural solutions that meet budgets while exceeding expectations, resulting in each party looking forward to collaborating again in the future.
TODD COOPER
PRINCIPAL / ARCHITECT
Before joining Lewis Himes associates as an architect and recently becoming a partner in the firm, Todd traveled the world as a global citizen and a member of the US Army, which he has served in some capacity since 1989 and continues to serve in the army reserves. His travels have taken him to Europe, Asia, Central America, and plenty of places in between. At every stop he discovers unique pockets of architecture and culture to marvel at and draw inspiration from. From the road side shops on the back roads of Thailand that use local materials to create unique spaces, to the historical classics like St. Peters cathedral in Rome, and the ultra-modern designs of Santiago Calatrava each having their own unique forms.
DEREK HOFFMAN
INTERIOR DESIGNER
Derek was born and raised in Colorado and graduated from the NKBA Accredited Interior Design program at Arapahoe Community College here in Downtown Littleton. He finds passion in creating aesthetically driven spaces that express the individuality of his clients and stimulating the human experience through design. Derek joined Lewis Himes Associates in 2022 with prior experience in furniture sales and residential design. Outside of work, Derek and his wife share a love for exploring the world, following films and television, caring for their furry children, and spending quality time with their friends and family.
